Échiré: Where Tradition Churns Timeless Butter
Founded in 1891 on the banks of the Sevre Niortaise River, Échiré has been a village cooperative dedicated to the art of butter-making. From the beginning, they’ve used traditional methods, churning the cream in teak barrels to create their signature texture. To this day, 22 liters of fresh milk are used for every kilogram of this exceptional butter, renowned for its quality and unique flavor.
